A beautiful blend of culture and community make James Thomson Elementary’s “Farm to School” Traditional Salmon BBQ one of the most anticipated events of the year. Bringing together members of the Tla’Amin Nation cooking salmon staked by an open fire, and home-grown veggies prepared by parent volunteers, an entire school participates in a memorable cultural tradition.
