About Coast Car Co-op
Started in 2014, Coast Car Co-op is a 100% member-owned not-for-profit cooperative carshare based in Gibsons, that provides over 300 local drivers – young families, seniors, individuals and local businesses with affordable, flexible access to a truck, van, hybrid, and compact car.
Vehicles can be booked from an hour to 4-5 days – by computer or smartphone. We cover insurance and fuel costs. You book with an online app in a minute. Then simply 'fob' in to the car - drive - and return. Carsharing saves households on transportation costs, traffic congestion, and reduces greenhouse gas emissions in the community, giving access to a range of useful vehicles when and where people need them.
