Consultation has concluded

The City is in receipt of an application to amend the zoning of a vacant parcel located between Manson Avenue and Charlotte Avenue, north of Field Street. Council wishes to engage with surrounding property owners who may be affected by a zoning change.

The subject property is split-zoned with the northern portion zoned RM1 (Compact Residential) and the southern portion zoned RM3 (Medium Density Multiple Family Residential). The RM1 lands front Georgia Crescent adjacent to a built-out cul-de-sac. It is the RM3 lands that are the focus of the rezoning application and this consultation. These lands measure roughly 6300m2 (1.55 acres) and the applicant has applied to rezone them from RM3 to CD4 (Comprehensive Development 4 Residential Small Lots). The applicant’s desire is to subdivide this parcel into single-family residential lots.

The complete staff report that presented the proposal to Committee of the Whole can be downloaded from the Documents link to the right. Planning staff welcome any inquiries or feedback from the public up to January 31, 2022.
