Nope, that is not a seal on the water..... look again! On one of the hottest days we have had this summer while we were swimming, a bypassing bear decided as well to go for a little dip on the refreshing waters of Griefpoint beach....only in Powell River!

    Willingdon Beach

    by dgisert, 10 months ago

I was trying to capture some clouds reflections on the water, when a fishingboat came along to move some crabtraps. It was my perfect little "zen" moment, to see the seagulls, sunlight, clouds and the boat blend with the calmness of the water.

    Lush

by Christine , 10 months ago

Living in a temperate rainforest means one thing in the rainy season, lots of water! The forests of Powell River are stunning anytime of year though and that extra water brightens the colours and provides an incredibly lush landscape to explore.
