The property owner of a vacant parcel of land located on Drake Street, also referred to as Lot B, has applied for a development variance permit that would waive the requirement to extend the nearest storm sewer main to the subject property’s frontage as established under City of Powell River Infrastructure Design and Construction Bylaw 2225, 2009. The applicant intends to sell the lot and is seeking the variance to provide prospective buyers with clarity on what is needed to support future development of the property.
